The dexter shield bears the traditional arms of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta (a white cross on gules with stripes), while the sinister shield displays the personal arms of Grand Master de Mojana di Cologna, quartered with fleurs-de-lis and wavy bars. The denomination 2 SCVDI is inscribed in the lower field in Roman-style capital lettering, with the engraver's mark visible beneath the shields. |
