Obverse description Central field features a displayed imperial eagle with spread wings, the body rendered in fine detail with a small shield at the breast. The eagle is encircled by a continuous Latin legend reading the title and name of the Archbishop. The design is characteristic of mid-16th century Germanic hammered coinage, with the eagle filling the flan in a bold, stylized manner.
