| 裏面の説明 | Within a beaded inner circle, the intertwined monogram 'DS' (Deus, referencing the reverse motto) is prominently displayed in the center of the field, flanked on either side by elements of the date. The surrounding Latin legend serves as a devotional inscription. The monogram and layout are typical of the personal or episcopal device used on Cammin bishopric coinage of this period. |

The Bishopric of Cammin occupied an awkward position during this period — a Catholic ecclesiastical territory surrounded by an increasingly Protestant Pomerania. The coins struck under Bishop Ulrich von Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel in these years were produced as the Thirty Years' War ignited across the German lands, and Cammin's administrative machinery was already under severe pressure from Brandenburg, which had claimed the right of succession to the bishopric since 1607.
Cammin was secularized and absorbed into Brandenburg-Prussia in 1650 under the Peace of Westphalia's provisions. This small silver issue belongs to the last generation of independent coinage from the see.
