Obverse description At center, the Austrian double-headed eagle displayed, with spread wings and talons, bearing on its breast the Austrian shield of horizontal bars. The denomination '2 S' is prominently inscribed in large characters in the lower field, flanking the eagle's feet, with the date '1934' below in the exergue area. The legend 'OESTERREICH' curves along the upper periphery of the coin.
