Reverse description Central field bearing the crowned imperial double-headed eagle or composite heraldic shield of Maximilian I, suspended within the collar of the Order of the Golden Fleece (toison d'or), flanked by the dynastic shields of Hungary, Burgundy, Habsburg, and Austria arranged in the quarters. The heraldic composition is rendered in high relief with fine engraved detail, reflecting the prestige and dynastic ambition of the Habsburg dynasty. A beaded inner border separates the central armorial design from the circumferential Latin legend, which also incorporates the date 15 19 divided on either side.
