Obverse description Central field features a traditional Nepalese yantra (tantric geometric diagram) design, rendered as a square grid subdivided into compartments by raised lines, with floral and flame motifs occupying the corner quadrants. The royal name and titles of King Gyanendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev are inscribed in Devanagari script across the compartments of the yantra. The Bikram Sambat date appears in Devanagari numerals at the base of the central design. The entire composition is enclosed within a beaded border running along the coin's periphery.
