Reverse description At centre, a Bengal tiger stands in profile facing left, depicted in fine relief before a stylised palm tree, together forming the official emblem of the Reserve Bank of India. The bilingual legend 'भारतीय रिज़र्व बैंक' in Devanagari script arcs along the upper left and 'RESERVE BANK OF INDIA' in Latin script arcs along the upper right. Below the central device, the commemorative dates '1935-85' appear in the exergue, flanked by the bilingual inscription 'स्वर्ण जयंती' (in Devanagari) to the left and 'GOLDEN JUBILEE' in Latin script to the right, marking the fiftieth anniversary of the Reserve Bank of India. A small mint mark 'B' for the Mumbai Mint is visible beneath the date. The reverse is struck in proof quality with mirror fields.
