Reverse description Central vignette of the Medirigiriya Vatadage circular relic shrine at Polonnaruwa, its concentric stone terraces and rows of granite pillars rendered in fine intaglio engraving in reddish-brown. A large oval microprint panel occupies the right half of the note, filled with repeated Sinhala text forming a security underprint. The bank title in Sinhala script is set at the top, with the denomination in Tamil at upper left and in English at upper centre, and the Sinhala denomination repeated at bottom; the printer's imprint appears in small letterpress at the foot of the note.
