正面描述	Brown and tan note with an intaglio portrait of Prime Minister S.W.R.D. Bandaranaike at right, rendered in three-quarter view. The Central Bank of Ceylon title is inscribed in Sinhala script at top centre, with the denomination expressed in Sinhala and Tamil scripts centrally, and 'TWO RUPEES' in Roman lettering at lower left and lower right. A central guilloche rosette underprint frames the date and dual-signature panel, with an ornate floral border running the full perimeter.
