| 背面描述 | The copper-nickel centre depicts a finely detailed left-facing portrait of a wolf's head set within a shield-shaped heraldic cartouche, rendered in high relief with naturalistic engraving of fur texture and alert facial features. The brass outer ring carries the Cyrillic legend • ВОЎК • arching across the upper field, flanked by raised dots, while the lower arc bears the series inscription ЖЫВЁЛІНЫ НА ГЕРБАХ ГАРАДОЎ БЕЛАРУСІ, identifying this coin as part of the 'Animals on the Coats of Arms of Belarusian Cities' series. |

Belarus introduced a redesigned circulating bimetallic rouble series in 2016 following a currency redenomination that lopped four zeros off the old ruble — the country's second such redenomination since independence. The wildlife-themed reverses, of which the wolf is one, were part of a deliberate effort to give the new currency a distinct national identity separate from Soviet-era coinage.
KM#712 is a circulating business strike, not a commemorative issue.
