The eagle is uncrowned, as used on Bank of Russia commemorative coinage. A beaded inner circle frames the central device. The denomination ДВА РУБЛЯ (Two Roubles) arcs across the upper field, while the legend БАНК РОССИИ (Bank of Russia) curves along the lower interior. The date 2007 Г. appears at the bottom, flanked by the silver fineness mark Ag 925 to the left and the weight value 15,55 to the right, with the Saint Petersburg Mint (СПМД) privy mark visible at the lower right. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | The reverse presents a frosted bust-length portrait of Soviet composer Vasily Pavlovich Soloviev-Sedoy, depicted in three-quarter view facing slightly left, wearing a suit, tie, and eyeglasses. To the left of the portrait, decorative musical staves intertwine with stylised tree branches bearing two small birds, evoking the lyrical character of his songs. To the right, additional musical notation and a schematic outline of a church steeple with cityscape allude to his Leningrad heritage. In the lower left field, the birth and death years 1907 and 1979 are inscribed. The composer's facsimile signature В.П. Соловьев-Седой appears in cursive script across the lower right portion of the field. |
