| Obverse description | At centre, the double-headed eagle emblem of the Bank of Russia, depicted with wings lowered, serving as the state symbol of the issuing authority. The eagle is encircled by a dotted border, with the denomination legend ДВА РУБЛЯ (TWO ROUBLES) arching along the upper rim and the inscription БАНК РОССИИ (BANK OF RUSSIA) in a semicircle beneath the eagle.
