Obverse description Right-facing draped bust of Emperor Peter II (Pyotr II) with flowing curly hair, wearing armour with a decorative collar, set against a plain field. The youthful effigy is rendered in high relief in the Baroque manner typical of early 18th-century Russian imperial coinage. A circular Cyrillic legend surrounds the portrait, reading the emperor's title as Autocrat of all Russia. Bullet and star stops separate the words of the legend around the rim.
