| Obverse description | At centre of the mirror-finish field, the double-headed eagle emblem of the Bank of Russia is depicted without crowns, shields, or orb and sceptre, rendered in high relief with finely detailed feathering. The denomination ДВА РУБЛЯ (Two Roubles) arcs along the upper rim, separated from the central device by a dotted border. Below the eagle, the issuing authority БАНК РОССИИ (Bank of Russia) is inscribed, with the date 2005 Г. along the lower rim. To the lower left, the alloy specification Ag 925 and the fineness weight 15,55 appear flanking the eagle, with the Saint Petersburg Mint mark (СПМД) located to the right within the dotted border. |
