Obverse description The obverse features the Bank of Russia's standard double-headed eagle emblem, displayed without a shield on its breast, set centrally within the field. The eagle is rendered in high relief with finely detailed plumage and outstretched wings. The Cyrillic legend ДВА РУБЛЯ arcs along the upper periphery, while БАНК РОССИИ appears below the eagle. The fineness designation Ag 925 and the weight figure 15,55 are inscribed in the lower left and lower right fields respectively, with the date 2006 Г. positioned along the lower rim. A dotted inner border encircles the central device, and the Moscow Mint monogram (ММД) appears discreetly in the lower right field.
