| Obverse description | Central field features the Russian State emblem, a double-headed eagle with wings displayed, rendered in fine detail against a mirror-polished proof field. The denomination ДВА РУБЛЯ (Two Roubles) is inscribed in large Cyrillic characters along the upper arc, separated from the central device by a dotted inner border. Below the eagle, the issuer legend БАНК РОССИИ (Bank of Russia) is inscribed in a curved line, flanked by the fineness mark Ag 925 to the lower left and the weight 15,55 to the lower right.
