| Obverse description | At centre, the two-headed eagle emblem of the Bank of Russia, wings lowered, rendered in high relief against the mirror field. The eagle is encircled by a fine beaded border, within which the denomination legend ДВА РУБЛЯ arcs across the upper rim and the issuing authority БАНК РОССИИ curves beneath the device. Along the lower rim, separated by lozenge stops, are inscriptions denoting the precious metal and fineness (Ag 925), the year of issue 2012 г., the fine metal content (15,55), and the Moscow Mint monogram ММД. |
