Obverse description The obverse features a view of two of Moscow's most iconic Kremlin landmarks: the domed Senate Building (Spassky side) in the left-center field with a flag flying atop its cupola, and the Spasskaya Tower with its distinctive Gothic spire and clock face rising to the right. The composition is set against a mirror-polished proof field evoking a night sky. The denomination ДВА РУБЛЯ (TWO ROUBLES) and date 1995 г. arc around the upper portion of the design within a beaded border, while БАНК РОССИИ (BANK OF RUSSIA) appears in the lower legend. Flanking the central design are the mint mark ЛМД and fineness indicators Ag 500 and 7.78, with the mint's rhombus privy marks visible at left and right.
