| Reverse description | The reverse features a three-quarter bust portrait of the novelist Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoyevsky facing slightly left, rendered in finely detailed relief with a full beard and characteristic intense expression. To the left of the portrait, a sculptural allegorical scene depicts a draped female figure holding a child before an Orthodox church with onion domes, evoking themes from his literary work. Vertically inscribed in archaic Cyrillic lettering to the left of the allegorical group is the quotation КРАСОТА СПАСЕТ МИР (Beauty will save the world). The birth and death years 1821 and 1881 appear stacked to the right of the portrait, and along the lower field the author's name is rendered in a cursive facsimile signature: Федоръ Достоевскiй. |
