| Beschrijving keerzijde | The center of the reverse features a finely detailed portrait of Elena Fabianovna Gnesina in relief, set against a matte silhouette of a grand piano rendered with laser treatment, enclosed by a relief contour with matte decorative border elements. To the left, in two lines, the years of her birth and death '1874' and '1967' are inscribed in relief. A relief image of the building of the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music appears in the composition, accompanied by a musical staff bearing Gnesina's personal musical autograph. The semicircular legend 'Е.Ф. ГНЕСИНА' (E.F. GNESINA) runs along the lower rim. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
Elena Gnesina founded what became the Gnesins' Russian Academy of Music in Moscow in 1895, alongside her sisters Evgenia and Maria. The school survived the Revolution, Soviet reorganization, and two world wars largely because the Gnesins were skilled enough at institutional politics to keep it running under successive regimes. It remains one of Russia's principal conservatories today, which explains the commemorative attention on the 130th anniversary of its founding.
