Nyasvizh (Nesvizh) was a stronghold of the Radziwiłł family for centuries, and the Church of the Body of God — more commonly called the Corpus Christi Church — was built in 1593 as their private mausoleum and is generally considered the first Baroque structure erected on Belarusian territory. The Radziwiłłs funded it using architects brought directly from Rome, and it remains the burial site of nearly all senior members of that dynasty. The complex was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2005 alongside the Mir Castle.
