| Obverse description | Draped bust of Empress Catherine II facing right, her hair elaborately coiffed and adorned with a small imperial crown, with curled locks falling to the shoulder. The effigy is rendered in high relief with fine detail to the lace and drapery of the imperial robes. The Cyrillic legend encircles the bust along the rim, interrupted at the base by the Saint Petersburg mint mark СПБ in the lower field. |
