备注

The 2 Ringgit denomination had a short and somewhat awkward run in Malaysian currency history — introduced partly to ease transaction friction at the lower end of daily commerce, it never fully settled into public habit and was eventually discontinued. The vertical signature of Ahmad Mohamed Don, who served as Governor of Bank Negara from 1994 to 1998, dates this note firmly within that window.

The print date of 30 April 1945 in the metadata is almost certainly a data entry error — that date falls during the Japanese occupation of Malaya, years before Bank Negara's 1959 establishment.
