| Obverse lettering | CAROLUS·GUSTAVUS·DECIMUS·D:G:REX·SVECORUM (Translation: Karl X Gustav, by the Grace of God, King of Sweden) |
| Reverse description | Crowned oval shield of Sweden bearing the three crowns and the Folkung lion, supported by two rampant lions at either side, all contained within a beaded inner circle. A Latin religious motto legend surrounds the design between the beaded circle and the coin's edge, with the date expressed in Roman numerals integrated into the legend. The composition is typical of the heraldic reverse style employed on Swedish riksdaler coinage of the mid-17th century. |
