Obverse description Bare-headed, draped bust of King Christian VIII facing right, rendered in neoclassical style with finely detailed curly hair. The effigy is centrally positioned within a beaded inner border. The engraver's initials F.K. appear below the truncation, accompanied by a small star. The circular Latin legend runs along the periphery, reading CHRISTIANVS VIII D:G: DANIAE V:G: REX F.K., proclaiming the king as ruler of Denmark, the Goths, and the Wends by the Grace of God.
