| 表面の説明 | Applied Type VII Costa Rican countermark consisting of a lion passant within a small circle of approximately 5 mm diameter, surrounded by the circular legend 'HABILITADA POR EL GOBIERNO' (Enabled by the Government). The countermark was punched onto the host coin's field, validating it for circulation under Costa Rican monetary authority. The host coin visible beneath the countermark appears to be a British silver shilling, showing a crowned lion passant above a royal crown and floral emblems with the partial legend 'BRITANNIARUM REX FIDEI DEFENSOR' around the periphery. A small drill hole is present at the left of the host coin's field, consistent with prior use as a pendant or suspension piece. |
