背面描述	Central field depicts a large spreading tree, its broad canopy rendered with detailed foliage, rising from a grassy mound, serving as the symbol of Honduras. The denomination 2 R • appears in the field to the left and right of the tree trunk at mid-height. The date 1845 is placed in the lower exergual area, flanked by the mint initial T (for Tegucigalpa) to the left and the assayer initial G to the right. The whole is enclosed within a raised inner circle, with the peripheral legend LIBRE CREZCA FECUNDO • running around the border between the inner circle and the beaded outer rim.
