Reverse description Central device features the crowned yoke and arrows, the personal devices of Ferdinand and Isabella respectively, rendered in a stylised form consistent with late 15th to mid-16th century Castilian hammered silver. A small castle shield appears at the top of the inner field above the central motifs. The design is enclosed within a beaded inner circle, with a partial Latin legend distributed around the periphery of the irregular flan. The surface shows typical characteristics of hand-struck coinage, including uneven relief and flow lines.
