Obverse description Draped bust of Felipe III facing left, wearing a crown, set within an inner beaded circle. The royal effigy is rendered in a somewhat crude hammered style typical of Majorcan provincial coinage of the early 17th century. The surrounding legend reads PHILIPPVS REX ARAGONVM, partially visible around the periphery of the flan. The irregular planchet and characteristic flat striking are consistent with hand-hammered production of the period.
Obverse script Latin
Obverse lettering PHILIPPVS REX ARAGONVM
