The circular legend CUNDINAMARCA is partially legible around the periphery. The counterstamp includes the denomination 2R and the mint initials Ba (Bogotá) along with the assayer's initials J.F., applied in a separate punch to validate the coin for continued circulation. The overall design is consistent with the provisional counterstamped coinage authorized during the transition period of Gran Colombian monetary reform. |
