Reverse description The reverse displays a heavily worn field bearing traces of the original host coin design, largely obliterated by wear and the application of the counterstamp. The circular legend CUNDINAMARCA is partially legible around the periphery. The counterstamp includes the denomination 2R and the mint initials Ba (Bogotá) along with the assayer's initials J.F., applied in a separate punch to validate the coin for continued circulation. The overall design is consistent with the provisional counterstamped coinage authorized during the transition period of Gran Colombian monetary reform.
