The denomination mark 2R appears to the left of the shield, with the mint mark PTS (Potosí) and assayer's initial P to the upper left. The peripheral Latin legend HISPAN ET IND REX encircles the lower portion, with the date appearing on the obverse; the whole is bounded by a milled beaded border. |
