Obverse description Laureate and draped bust of King Carlos IV facing right, rendered in the neoclassical style introduced for the bust coinage. The royal effigy occupies the central field, with the king depicted in armored drapery visible at the shoulder and neck. The circular legend CAROLUS IIII DEI GRATIA runs along the upper periphery, interrupted by a dot-separated format, with the mint date 1807 appearing in the lower exergual area. The coin's milled border frames the design on all sides.
