Obverse description Draped laureate bust of King Charles III facing right, rendered in the neoclassical style. The peripheral legend reads CAROLUS III DEI GRATIA, distributed around the effigy. The date appears in the lower exergual area of the field. The portrait is characteristic of the standard Bust coinage design adopted across Spanish colonial mints during the late 18th century.
