| Beschrijving keerzijde | Central design features the crowned Royal Arms of Spain — a quartered shield displaying the castles of Castile and the lions of León in the first and fourth quarters, with the fleur-de-lis of the Bourbon dynasty in the central escutcheon. The shield is flanked on either side by the Pillars of Hercules, each surmounted by a crown and wreathed with a banner, symbolizing the straits of Gibraltar and Spanish dominion beyond.
