Reverse description The quartered Royal Arms of Spain displayed on a crowned shield at centre, depicting castles of Castile and lions of León in the principal quarters, with the central escutcheon bearing the fleur-de-lis of the Bourbon dynasty. The denomination mark '2' and the assayer initials 'CF' appear to the right of the shield, with the mint mark 'S' for Seville to the left, and 'R' indicating Reales above left. The circular Latin legend HISPANIARUM·REX· runs along the upper and lateral periphery, completing the royal titulature.
