Obverse description Central crowned monogram of Carlos II, composed of interlaced 'C' and 'A' letters with a cross element, all surmounted by a royal crown. The mint mark 'M' and assayer initial appear flanking the crown. The denomination 'II' is inscribed in the lower field. The entire central device is surrounded by a beaded inner circle, with the legend distributed around the periphery within a beaded border.
