Reverse description The reverse of the host coin presents the crowned monogram of the Catholic Monarchs Ferdinand and Isabella, depicted as intertwined Gothic letters 'F' and 'Y' (Fernandus and Ysabella), set within a radiating or floriated design typical of late 15th-century Castilian hammered coinage. A partial circular Latin legend runs along the periphery, partially visible due to the irregular flan. A second countermark punch — a circular 'Bamba' stamp — is applied to the right field, its rounded outline and interior device confirming the 1734 Canary Islands revalidation alongside the obverse countermark.
