背面描述	Two Pillars of Hercules rising from waves, each surmounted by a crown and bearing a banner with the motto PLUS ULTRA, flanking a central panel displaying the mintmark, assayer's initial, and face value in three lines. Lettering appears both above and below in the characteristic arrangement of colonial cob coinage, with the assayer's initial and denomination repeated.
