Obverse description Central field features the cantonal shield of Schwyz, displaying vertical stripes with a small cross superimposed at the center, rendered in a slightly convex heraldic style. The shield is flanked on both sides by symmetrical laurel branches that curve upward from the base, forming a partial wreath around the lower portion of the shield. The circular legend reads CANTON SCHWYZ, distributed around the upper periphery of the coin within a beaded border.
