Agulhas, shown underway on stylised waves, with the ship's name inscribed on its hull. Above the vessel at the top of the inner field, the circular logo of the International Polar Year 2007–2008 is prominently displayed, featuring a globe with a stylised human figure traversing it and the inscription 'INTERNATIONAL POLAR YEAR 2007 2008'.
