| Obverse description | Draped bust of Ferdinand IV facing right, occupying the central field. The portrait is rendered in low relief in a modest provincial style consistent with late 18th-century Italian copper coinage. A circular Latin legend surrounds the effigy, reading FERDINAN·IV·D·G·SICIL·REX, identifying the monarch as Ferdinand IV, by the Grace of God King of Sicily. A mint initial appears below the bust in the lower field. |
