Reverse description The reverse presents the denomination and date in large, boldly struck Arabic script and Eastern Arabic numerals arranged vertically in the central field. At the top, the written denomination قرشان (Two Qirsh) is inscribed in Naskh calligraphy, followed below by the Arabic numeral ٢ (2), and beneath that the Hijri year ١٣٧٩ (AH 1379, corresponding to 1960 CE). The design is simple and functional, with the numerals occupying the majority of the field against a plain, unadorned background. A raised rim frames the reverse.
