Obverse description At center, the national emblem of Saudi Arabia comprising two crossed swords beneath a date palm, all rendered in relief. The Hijri and Gregorian dual dates flank the emblem on either side. A bold Arabic royal legend curves along the upper periphery, identifying the reigning monarch, with a secondary legend along the lower periphery completing the royal title.
