| Obverse description | Central field occupied entirely by a multi-line Persian legend in bold Nasta'liq script, reading the royal titulature of Naser al-Din Shah. The inscription is divided by a horizontal rule into two registers: the upper register bearing the honorific titles and the lower register completing the royal name and epithet. The legend is surrounded by a finely engraved floral and foliate arabesque border composed of scrolling vines and stylised blossoms, all contained within a raised circular border and a flat outer rim. |

| Reverse description | Central field bearing a three-line Persian legend in Nasta'liq script, recording the mint name and regnal year, divided by a raised horizontal bar into upper and lower registers. The inscription is framed by an arabesque border of scrolling floral and foliate ornaments with pellet accents, enclosed within a raised inner circle and a wide flat rim with a concentric groove. The overall design is consistent in style with the obverse, reflecting the characteristic Qajar milled coinage aesthetic. |
