| 表面の説明 | Arabic legend reading 'Kabul Afghanistan' with the Solar Hijri date inscribed within a central beaded circle. The legend is arranged across multiple lines in the field, with 'Kabul' appearing at the top above 'Afghanistan' and the regnal year below. The beaded circle is enclosed by a wreath of two wheat or olive branches tied at the base, their stalks rising symmetrically on either side to frame the central inscription. |

Nadir Shah seized the Afghan throne in 1929 after defeating the Tajik rebel Habibullah Kalakani, who had himself overthrown Amanullah Khan earlier that year. The small bronze fractional coinage issued under his name had a short production window by necessity — Nadir Shah was assassinated by a student at a school prize-giving ceremony in Kabul in November 1933, ending his reign after barely four years.
