| 正面铭文 | ELIZABETH II BAILIWICK OF JERSEY IRB 2010 |
| 背面描述 | The reverse commemorates Victory in Europe Day, featuring a dramatic wartime searchlight scene with multiple converging beams of light radiating upward from the lower field against a polished background, evoking the celebratory illuminations of 8 May 1945. In the lower portion of the field, a detailed silhouetted cityscape of London is depicted, including recognisable landmarks such as St Paul's Cathedral and the Houses of Parliament. The denomination 'TWO POUNDS' is inscribed at the upper rim, with the central legend 'VE DAY' and date '8 MAY 1945' prominently displayed in the upper field. The lower legend 'BRITISH ISLES AT WAR' arcs along the bottom of the coin. |

Jersey issued this piece to mark the 65th anniversary of Liberation Day — May 9, 1945 — when the Channel Islands were the only British territory to have been occupied by German forces during the war. The occupation lasted five years, during which Jersey's population endured forced labor deployments, severe food shortages, and the deportation of Jewish residents to mainland concentration camps.
The 65th anniversary was chosen partly because it was understood to be among the last major commemorations at which significant numbers of survivors and veterans could be present.
