The Mares of Diomedes — the eighth labour of Heracles — involved capturing the man-eating horses of the Thracian king Diomedes, who fed them on human flesh to keep them savage. Gibraltar has issued a long-running Hercules labours series, and this 2020 entry falls within that programme.
