An inscription 'THE ERYMANTHIAN BOAR' appears in two lines to the left of the central group, and a Greek key meander decorative band runs along the lower field. Below the design, the denomination numeral '2' flanked by the mint mark 'PM' and initials 'AA' is incused above the outer ring legend. The nickel-brass ring carries the arcing legend 'THE LABOURS OF HERCULES' above and '· POUNDS ·' below, all separated by a beaded border from the inner disc. |
