Obverse description Fourth crowned effigy of Queen Elizabeth II facing right, wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland Tiara, as sculpted by Ian Rank-Broadley, whose initials IRB appear below the truncation. The sovereign's name ELIZABETH II arcs above the portrait within the outer nickel brass ring, flanked by the issuer inscription BAILIWICK OF JERSEY and the date 2021.

Reverse description The copper-nickel centre field depicts a dynamic high-relief scene of a rugby player carrying the ball whilst being tackled by an opponent, rendered in a bold sculptural style. To the left of the central figures, the RFU Tudor rose logo is prominently displayed with the commemorative inscription RFU 150 beneath it. The outer nickel brass ring carries the legend 150 YEARS RUGBY FOOTBALL UNION arcing around the upper portion and the denomination TWO POUNDS along the lower portion, separated by raised bullet points.
